About the Centre:

The Award Winning Resource Recovery Centre is located in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia.
An initiative of the Wingecarribee Shire Council, the RRC has developed into a leading model of waste management and resource recovery for local government and industry. The Centre reprocesses some waste materials into new products for sale to the public. This is great for the environment, our lifestyle and our economy.

Christmas and Holiday collection arrangements:

There will be no change to collection days. Please ensure that your bins are placed out for collection the night before your normal collection day as the drivers will start very early so that they can get home to spend time with their families on the Public Holidays.

Opening times for RRC:

The Resource Recovery Centre will be open over the Christmas and holiday season every day except for;

• Christmas Day Closed
• Boxing Day Closed
